Welcome to the 2024 NSW Team Penning Championships

This year we are trialling a NEW format with 3 Toowoomba Sunset Drafter saddles up for grabs to the winning Open team!!!

All riders are invited to enter into two teams, provided there is at least one different rider. This is NOT compulsory.

Due to lack of entries for Junior competitors in previous years, there is only a Youth Division, as well as the Open Division, for competitors aged 17 years and under.  Junior Competitors are more than welcome to compete in the Youth division.  Similarly Youth competitors are welcome to enter into the Open Division in a 2nd different team.

Each team will have four (4) runs over Friday and Saturday with all 4 runs being tallied together with the best 16 Open and best 5 Youth aggregate scores - which includes quickest time and most head of cattle penned - going into the clean slate Finals on Sunday. 
Each team in the Finals will have 3 runs to be tallied together, with the Winners having the best aggregate of time and head.

Saturday Night will be the Presentation of all Minor Awards including Best Presented Open Team, Best Presented Youth Team, Fastest Run (before Finals) and Best Aggregate - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Placed Teams (before Finals) in both Open & Youth Divisions.
The Top 16 Open Teams and Top 5 Youth Teams for the Finals will be announced.

Camping at the grounds available from Thursday 10th October.
